Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately we do not take any insurance at this time. We can provide an insurance claim form for you after payment that most insurances will accept for consideration for out-of-network reimbursement. Check with your insurer to find out rates and coverage for out-of-network providers.
Do you prescribe medications?
Melissa is a licenced mental health counselor not a doctor or a psychiatrist. She is not able to prescribe any medications.
Do you provide PSYCHOLOGICAL testing?
No. We do not currently have any psychologists on staff do to testing, but do maintain relationships with several that we can recommend as needed.
What ages do you work with?
We work with ages 4 and older.
what are your fees?
To promote more equitable accessibility to counseling for the community,
I am working towards implementing Alexis Cunningfolk's "Green Bottle Methodology." This approach encourages clients to choose a rate that reflects their financial situation. Please see the attached image that explains the various levels available. The rates for Bespoke Counseling Services are as follows:
Bottle 1: $125 (No limit)
("Pay It Forward" -- allows me to offer lower price points while still maintaining business sustainability. This is the default fee if no other fee is chosen.)
Bottle 2: $100 (Moderately Limited availability)
Bottle 3: $75 (Significantly limited availability)
Bottle 4: $60 (Very limited availability)
Clients can review the descriptions of each level to determine which most accurately reflects their financial situation and will have the corresponding rate until that situation changes.
Please be mindful that if you choose a price at the lowest end of the scale when you can truthfully afford the higher prices, you limit access for those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility. Being honest with yourself and your financial situation when engaging with sliding scale practices builds strong and sustainable communities. (Cunningfolk, Alexis J)
